What is spermidine?
Spermidine is a natural polyamine that occurs as a messenger substance in every cell of the body. It is a compound of amino acids and is closely linked to cell growth. One of its essential functions in cell metabolism is to “switch on” the cellular cleansing processes, known as autophagy.

The spermidine content of wheat germ can vary greatly. Longevity Labs+ therefore relies on certified suppliers from Central Europe in the interests of quality and sustainability.
The wheat germ is then tested twice for quality, purity and especially for its spermidine content – before and after extraction. The extraction itself takes place in-house at the production site in Graz, Austria. This is the only way to ensure effectiveness and a guaranteed spermidine content.

The research department of SpermidineLife is based at the University of Graz, Austria. The Institute for Molecular Biosciences with the laboratory Frank Madeo and Tobias Eisenberg is in charge of research into the top molecule spermidine.
